The combines are rolling! This is my favorite time of year because it is report card time. (Maybe that's the old teacher in me that's coming out!) We are all harvesting the results of the management decisions we made starting over a year ago as we began planning for the 2016 crop. Everything from tillage and fertility programs to hybrids or varieties planted was planned and now we get the results. Yet, it is not that simple as mother nature plays a role we cannot plan in advance!
We thank you for choosing Legend to be part of your operation and we hope your results are like so many we are hearing: that Legend products are doing the job and more! You selected the right products for the right acres in your operation and we needed to do our research and have the best products for your operation as possible.
Our Research Team began their harvest of our Legend Elite Advancement Project (L.E.A.P.) in early October. They are carefully wrapping up the trials and tests that they planned last winter, planted this spring, and monitored all summer. We're excited to see the results of this effort as the data comes in. This research will be the foundation for the products that we introduce over the next couple years.
Harvest is also a time to say, Good Job! We want to celebrate all of the hard work that you have done over the past year. A year ago we reintroduced the Legend Yield Advantage Club to recognize growers for the great job they are doing using our products to increase their yields and improve their bottom line. To learn more about this club and how you can participate contact a Legend Representative or call the De Smet office.
As you harvest you are also starting to plan for next year. It is a good time to consider what management decisions you can make to improve your operation. At Legend we put 100% of our effort into making our products work on your acres and 0% of our efforts into making stockholders on Wall Street happy. We are here to help you improve your bottom line with both products and agronomy information. We wish you a successful harvest and look forward to being part of your operation in the future.
To your success,
Glen
