- Minnesota update from Jeffrey Sorenson, Sales
Agronomist: Silage harvest has all but wrapped up
around most of the state, and soybean harvest is getting going in between the rain showers. Both
corn and soybean yields in central Minnesota are coming in great, but there is still not much action in
southern Minnesota due to all the rain. Among the corn reports that are coming in, the common theme
is that it is much dryer than expected.

- North Dakota update from Mike Tofsrud, Sales Agronomist: Soybean harvest in the northern
half of the state is in full swing, but at a slow
pace over the last week due to wet weather. The
southern half of the state is starting to get rolling
as well. The corn harvest has started in some areas
where growers have decided to take some corn
while waiting for beans to dry down. Continue
to monitor stalk strength to keep ahead of any
stability issues.

- South Dakota update from Nick Brandenburg, Sales Agronomist: Large portions of South Dakota are
still trying to dry out from the past week’s wet and cool weather. Many areas will be ready to harvest once
field conditions improve. Stalk issues continue to be a concern in just about every corn field. Soybean
moisture should be monitored closely as well to reduce pod shatter.

- Wisconsin update from Jacob Andrle, Sales Agronomist: Combines are rolling on both corn and
soybeans across Wisconsin. Silage harvest is mostly done, with a few fields left to go in some areas. Corn
has been running very well for yields with good test weights compared to last fall. Stalk quality is still a
concern in all parts of the state so having a harvest plan or not waiting to harvest suspect fields is key.
Soybean yields have been variable, with areas that were dry seeing slightly below average numbers.
